Auditions for Break a Leg Theater Works' summer production of Les Miserables School Edition!

 Attention, revolutionaries! 

The barricades are up, the stage is set, and Break a Leg Theater Works is about to bring Les Miserables School Edition to life. This isn’t just any audition — this is your chance to join the fight for freedom, to sing your heart out for a cause, and to be part of one of the most iconic stories ever told.

We’re beyond thrilled to welcome Richard Barth, former Resident Director of the Broadway touring production of Les Mis, to work with our cast. With his expertise, you’ll get a masterclass in bringing these characters to life with the passion and intensity they deserve. (Trust us, he’s lived this show — literally.)

Here’s the deal:
 Video submissions due: May 10th
 Callbacks: May 17th & 18th
To audition: please fill out audition form and email a video of yourself singing a verse of a musical theater song to info@breakalegtheater.com by 11:59pm May 10th!

Students ages 7-13 may audition for the roles of Gavroche, Young Eponine, and Young Cossette

Students ages 14-18 may audition for all other roles

*Some roles may be double cast; each student would play their role 3 of 6 nights and perform in the ensemble on the alternate 3 performances

Rehearsals will take place at Live Love Dance Studio located at 160 N Main Street Carver, MA

Initial rehearsals will take place on weekends: 5/31, 6/1, 6/7, 6/8, 6/14, 6/15 (times tbd based around student conflicts)

Full day rehearsals (9-3) will begin on June 20th 

Full day rehearsals will be held on 6/20, 6/21, 6/23, 6/24, 6/25, 6/26, 6/27, 6/30, 7/1, 7/2

Tech Week (4-10pm) will be held on 7/6, 7/7, 7/8, 7/9, 7/10 (These will be held at Thayer Academy)

Performances @ Hale Theater, Thayer Academy

Friday 7/11 & 7/18 @ 7

Saturday 7/12 & 7/19 @ 7

Sunday 7/13 & 7/20 @ 2
