Let’s take a trip to North Shore High School as Break a Leg Theater Works Online presents "The Mean Girls Experience". This weekend  of fun will be taught by two Broadway actors who are also members of the first national tour of Mean Girls, the musical, that we saw at The Boston Opera House. Jonalyn Saxer, who currently stars as Karen on the tour and who was also featured in the Broadway company sometimes as Cady and Regina too, will teach our Mean Girls mock audition class, as well as our Mean Girls scene study class.


Fernell Hogan II, a popular returning teacher at BAL, will teach choreography inspired by the original production to the iconic numbers “Revenge Party” and “Fearless”. Fernell will also co-host our experience class with Jonalyn which is going to be SO FETCH! Don’t let this once in a lifetime moment pass you by. Jonalyn Saxer & Fernell Hogan

Jonalyn Saxer is currently starring as Karen in the first national tour of Mean Girls after appearing in the original Broadway cast in the ensemble. She will be seen as a Jet girl in the upcoming West Side Story movie remake directed by Steven Spielberg. Other Broadway credits include Cats, Holiday Inn, Honeymoon In Vegas, and Bullets Over Broadway. Other credits include Moonshine: That Hee-Haw Musical and Gotta Dance(now known as Half Time). Regionally, she was seen as Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street at The Muny, and has performed at other theaters including Pittsburgh CLO, Maine State Music Theater, and the Fingerlakes Theater Festival. Proud graduate of Syracuse University.

Fernell Hogan II is thrilled to be touring with Mean Girls  for the first time. Most recently he made his Broadway debut in The Prom Musical. A graduate of Houston’s HSPVA.
