AUDITION INFORMATION / SIGN UP

"Shrek" the Musical

WHEN:

Friday, April 26th 5:00-8:00 pm

Saturday April 27th 12:00-4:00 pm

WHERE:

Chiltonville Congregational Church, 6 River St. in Plymouth

WHAT: Students are asked to prepare one full musical theater song to a karaoke track. Speaker / playing device provided. *NOTE - students will be asked to fill in an audition form and LIST THEIR REHEARSAL CONFLICTS on the form. Availability may be taken into consideration when casting and frequently missed rehearsals not otherwise noted will be taken into consideration upon future casting. 

 

HOW: Up to 5 students will be seen per half-hour time slot. Please select from available slots below. Please arrive 10 minutes before your audition time-frame; students will be asked to sign an audition form and will be seen in 5 minute increments within the time slot. 

CALL-BACKS: Dance call-backs will be held on Saturday, May 4th 25th from 2:00-4:00 at Chiltonville Congreagational Church in Plymouth. Call-backs for principal roles will be held later in evening on Saturday, May 4tg between the hours of 4-8 (students will not be called for the whole time). 

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:

*some roles may be double-cast

TUITION: $395.00, billed upon acceptance of role and due by first rehearsal on May 18th.

*Note: Students who are enrolled in BAL's production of "Cabaret" or "Guys & Dolls Jr." will receive a 10% discount on tuition.

REQUIREMENTS: Students must currently be in grades 4-9. Younger students may be eligible to audition based on experience - please email us info@breakalegtheater.com for more info. Conflicts must be given upon auditions and may be taken into consideration when casting. All students will be required to help out in an additional area of the theatrical production of their choosing and to help with set strike following the final show. In addition to tuition, students may be asked to provide their own makeup and basic costume pieces.
